Jazz playoff season and Kenzie getting beautiful

This is Kyle Korver. Kierra thinks she is in love with him. She even has a new I love Kyle shirt. He got traded here in January.

We went to a few games this year for the Jazz playoffs. It was lots of fun and we got to take one of my brothers one game and a different one the other day. Brandon was bad and we even went to the game on Mother's day and went to brunch. Dave and Jackie thought it sounded like so much fun that they bought there tickets the morning of and joined us. It was actually a nice mothers day and lots fun. I can't believe how much the girls' like to watch the game and get involved. It also helped the cast of High School Musical was at the game.

Dreaded Dance Competitions and Our visit to the children's museum

This was an exhibit at the Children's Museum up in Salt Lake, I think the kids had a good time there. My brother Tate went and he seemed to enjoy it also. WE bought a membership but haven't made it back yet. The kids loved the life flight helicopter they could play in.

Kierra's jazz dance, I thought the costumes were cute. Kierra certainley like to give it her all.
Kierra's hip hop dance that I really thought was cool but Brandon didn't enjoy. This was the first competition for the year and it was up in Layton and we had to be there by 8:20 am so we had to get up very early and be there early so we were very worn out that day.
Kierra's darling tap dance, I loved this costume as well. They danced to signed, sealed and delivered. It was cute.
Kenzie's little mermaid dance, it was funny to see such small girls up there on the big stage. She did good considering this was her first competition, yes even the little girls' compete. If not everyone knows, Kenzie is obsessed with mermaids so this was the PERFECT dance and costume for her.

Great Grandma's Funeral

Grandmother, Doris Fotheringham, passed away a few months ago. She was a great lady and will be missed by all but she lived a great and long life and was a awesome example to all!

Kierra had a fun day for grandparents day and we even checked her out early and went out to lunch! We had lots of fun and she was lucky to have her great grandma there too!

I couldn't believe that church actually got cancelled because of the snowstorm. I have never had that happen before. Or maybe it was because of the Super Bowl, who knows but we did have lots of fun playing in it!

Well, we went to Orlando for 9 days at the beginning of December. We went with my family. We had lots of fun. We did lots of parks. The kids were fun to watch along with my brothers. It was nice and warm ( like 78 degrees) and we got to wear summer clothes (ya!). Kierra and Tate got in a food fight at Universal Studios (see Tate's chocolate face) ...it was pretty funny.The boys went to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. We went swimming a few days and had fun.

We had lots of fun in Jackson Hole ( Kenz likes to call it Jackie's hole). We went with Brandon's family minus Rob and Nae because they moved to Texas and it just was lonely with out them. Kierra loved riding the horses and didn't stop raving about it.

Kenzie and Addie are best buddies. However, it is a bit of an abusive relationship because Ad is in the stage of hitting and Kenzie usually gets the brunt of it.

Dang Denae and her skinny body...I want to kick her.

I know Robbie wont like the naked pics but I thought they were cute, sorry Bob. We miss Ad a lot now that they moved to Texas (Spongebob accent there). My kids miss their cute but wild cousin and their darling aunt Nae Nae and crazy uncle Rob. Kenzie tells me all the time that she wants to go to Texas (Spongebob voice again) and see Nae Nae.

Disneyland with the fam/Knotts Berry Farm

Well, we decided to go to Disneyland while we were in Cali for the family reuinon. I don't know if it was the smartest decision to go in the middle of the summer because is was so damn hot and so busy. We were suppose to meet up with Terri and party but I think they ditched us, for rude! We had fun though, it was just so hot and so busy! Little Addie did really well and had fun as well as my own kids and Ana and Danny. I think Jackie was worn out though. No more Disneyland in the summer. Knotts Berry Farm is way ghetto...no bueno!

Newport Beach/ Family reuinon

We went to Newport Beach for July 4 ( we were there for a week). It was the Young family reunion (Brandon's mom's side). It was fun except the non-stop partying all around us and people yelling "Show us your tits" so other than that it was fun. The kids had lots of fun. We went to the beach a lot and got sand in places no one wants sand. The girls had fun with their cousins, aunt Nae Nae, Terri (Kierra's soulmate), and all her family and of course her grandparents. However, the house had no air conditioning and I had the room that had the bathroom that was the hall for the whole house so when I went to the bathroom one side of the house was completley closed off to the other side until I opened back up.

Well, I know these pictures are from last summer but I thought it would be fun to put them on so other family members could see who hadn't seen them.

This is when we went to Arizona for Father's Day to see my grandpa. We had fun after we found a different hotel. The first hotel we found on the internet and it looked so fun and nice but when we got there it was not so fun and nice so we changed to the Hyatt. It had an awesome pool and we had a much better time. It was nice to see the cousins and my aunt and uncle. But boy, was it hot!

Sweet Gohme

This is my beautiful grandma, gohme, who died in April. She is very much so missed and life just isn't the same without her. I am so grateful she isn't in pain anymore. She was a crazy lady. She loved Coke (big gulps), going to the movies with extra butter on her popcorn, she loved George Strait( I loved when a song she liked would come on the radio and she would snap her fingers and dance a little to her "shit kickin" music, she loved music, and she loved her family. She was an excellent cook and the most thoughtful person you would ever meet. I miss her every day.

12 hours in Maui

For being at sea for five days we finally got to spend a whole 12 hours in Maui. We got a room at theHyatt and got off the boat early and just hung out at the pool until it was time to go to the airport. When we got out of the cab at the hotel Brandon tipped the guy getting the bags out of the car. When we went up to our room Brandon then discovered that he tipped the guy $50 bucks instead of the $10 bill he had in his pocket with it. No wonder the guy was so happy and nice. Now Brandon goes by "big tipper".

We got on a red eye flight, $898 one way ticket, leaving at 9:30 pm luckily, the kids fell asleep before the flight even took off. It was definetley a very long day! But the 12 hours we spent in Maui was totally magical! :)

For some reason we got a wild hair and decided to go on a two week cruise to Hawaii. It left April 26th. My grandmother, who had stage four lung cancer, died on April 28th. (She was my best friend and I didn't think she was going to die while I was gone but it just went fast) So we decided to come home once we hit the first island (which happened to be Maui). We were at sea for 5 days. I swear we were the youngest people there. The food was all old people food such as bran flakes and etc... However, cruising with old people means no drunk people in the halls and everyone loved the kids and they got lots of attention, which the ate up! We were suppose to get a bigger room as well but none opened up so we were stuck in some little room with the kids and me being sad about my grandma dying and feeling bad I left her; needless to say that is what I picture hell like. Some girl in the kids camp tried molesting Kierra, we got bad sunburns, and had to re-pack like 6 suitcases in this closet of a room. I guess it was our own fault for going when I knew my grandma was in the hospital but I guess you live and learn. I did feel at peace after my grandma died just because she wasn't in pain however, I felt really bad that I wasn't there for her or my mom and I felt isolated from everyone because I wasn't at home helping plan her funeral and grieving with family. So we got to spend about 12 hours in Maui. That is a pretty sweet consolidated tour of Hawaii. Luckily we had insurance on the trip and got most of all we spent back!

This is our oldest Kierra Amanda. She turned 7 in October. I can't believe we have a 7 year old. She is a very big help and loves to "tell" what every one is doing. Nothing gets past Kierra. She is an excellent dancer and can entertain you for hours. She looks more like Brandon than me and doesn't look anything like her little sister. She has the nicest head of hair. She loves sweets and you can't share dessert with her because she eats it too fast and elbows you out of the way ( I think she learned that from her dad). :)

She loves first grade and is very social. She is an excellent speller and is very bright. I have never known anyone to go to so many birthday parites in one year than her. She wants to be the next " Hannah Montana" but I am not so sure about hetting her into that crowd. She loves sleeping in my room on the weekends and drinking coke. Kierra is always up for a good time and is wild and crazy. She loves her family.

Well, I guess we got bit with the blog bug. It is fun to have a page where you can keep up with old friends or relatives that don't live by you.

This is Kenzie Kyia. She turned three in October and is very crazy. He has a little attitude and then some. She loves to take bubble baths and thinks she has to always be touching me. She loves to follow her big sister around and tease her for attention.

Kenzie loves purses and make-up and the other day she told me "I am a fancy girl and I have boyfriends everywhere," I can already tell that this one is going to be trouble.
